First 100 Days as CIO/ Executive Playbook
First 100 Days™ New IT executives and senior managers have a limited timeframe to learn the ropes and begin producing results. This process develops an action plan covering a period of 100 days. It focuses on understanding the organization, their clients and creating a prioritization matrix to produce a results oriented plan of action. Key benefits include:

CIO Staging
CIO Transition We acquire through referrals excellent CIOs who have left that role and are seeking another CIO role. We create a temporary place within our organization for them while they seek full time employment. During the time they are with us, we educate them on the most current thinking and observations we find in working with our clients about IT governance and organization performance. For their CIO position interviews, we prepare for them personalized PowerPoint presentations on IT governance and The First 100 Days™. This has been a very successful experience for them and us. We do not charge for this but have seen follow-on work for the Institute as a result.

CIO Development Excellent people are referred to us who are seeking to be promoted in their company to the CIO role. We educate them on the most current thinking and observations we find with our clients. We help them construct discussion strategies and tactics with their intended peers and CEO. It is not uncommon for us to create a balanced scored, strategy map, critical success factors, vision, mission and core values for their intended new organization so they can display the value they are offering to their company. This has been a successful experience for them and us. We do not charge for this but have seen follow-on work for the Institute as a result.

CIO Rescue Senior corporate executives have referred their high potential CIO, who is having difficulty obtaining the desired level of performance from the IT organization, to us for coaching assistance. The senior executive seeks to retain the individual in their company rather than terminating or reassigning them to another role. We perform the same activities with the CIO as we do in CIO Development.
